Our northwood's lakefront family resort is on the south shore of Loon Lake, a 1,025 acre lake with a maximum depth of 202 feet. Being approximately 4 miles long, Loon Lake can provide all of the lake trout, small mouth bass, rock bass and northern pike that you will need for for your nightly northwood's fish fry. Relaxing, fishing, canoeing, hiking or birding, Loon Lake Lodge resort can accommodate whatever sort of vacation and outdoors activities you desire. The activities at Loon Lake Lodge resort and in the surrounding Gunflint Trail area of Minnesota are many and varied.
